My little girl is growing up! She started kindergarten today. The school schedule is going to take some getting used to. Neither of us are morning people. We sleep in until 8:30 or 9- Her classes start at 7:30! Now we have to be up at 6:30 every morning- ugh! She knows that mommy drinks coffee to help her wake up, so she asked if she could have some coffee this morning. She got chocolate milk. LOL
David and Rebecca got married on the beach near Holiday Inn in Hilton Head. What a perfect destination for a romantic wedding! It was supposed to rain on their wedding day, but luckily it turned out to be a beautiful day. It’s evident from the pictures that they are very much in love. I wish them the best…Here are a few pictures from their engagement session and wedding day.

Jillian lost her first tooth today! Her tooth had been loose for a couple of weeks by the time we went to Hilton Head for David and Rebecca’s wedding. I was shooting the engagement session today when it finally fell out. When I was younger, the tooth fairy would leave a note and a dollar under the pillow. Her tooth fairy left a card and much needed beach toys. Coming up with a unique name for the tooth fairy wasn’t easy. We thought about going with Tooth Fairy Bob or Ralph to be different, but in the end we settled on Tatiana.

Katie consulted with me back in January for her October wedding. It seems like yesterday- I can’t believe that her wedding is already around the corner! Kevin is a firefighter- he, like most men, had to be coaxed into smiling during the engagement session but in the end we ended up with a lot of great pictures. There will be firetrucks at the wedding- I’m so excited about the posing possibilities! Here are a few of my favorites from the engagement and formal bridal sessions.

Chad and I have been all over the place this year. His employer sent him to Laguna Beach, CA for a conference in April. We went surfing there and witnessed some of the most beautiful sunsets.
In May, we went to Aruba with neighbors Clay and Jen. Clay is a redhead and NEVER wears sunscreen so he got fried on the trip- poor guy! We went snorkeling and had a blast! I couldn’t stop laughing at the way everyone looked with their masks on! At one point while snorkeling, I thought I was pointing at Jen and laughing at her but when I got closer, I realized it was someone else. oops!
We were lucky enough to go to the Caribbean twice this summer. Chad had a conference in the Bahamas in July. What a nice place for a conference! Where do I sign up for a job like that!? Here are some of my favorite pictures from our trips.

I’m excited to finally have a blog where I can share a few of my favorite moments from photo shoots and weddings. I will introduce you to some of the wonderful people I meet, as well as share a little about me and my approach to photography. I would love to get to know you too so please don’t hesitant to leave comments. Thanks. =)
