Josh and Holly were married in front of a beautiful rock quarry at Carrigan Farms in Mooresville. The emphasis was definitely on FUN! The tables were decorated in bright, vivid colors. And the best part had to be the cotton candy stand next to the candy buffet. I think the grown-ups enjoyed the treats as much as the little ones did! A few men tried to run away as I attempted to photograph them with their lollipops and cotton candy, but not all were successful! LOL! I love the image of the ring bearer below. As he walked down the aisle, he paused for a moment to enjoy the view. ~Congratulations Josh and Holly! =)

Meg and Jonathan were married at Myers Park Presbyterian church in Charlotte last weekend. Their friends and family have to be one of the friendliest groups I have ever worked with! They all took the trolley to Bentley’s for the reception- I followed closely behind and tried to get a few shots through my windshield but that didnt work out too well! I love the one of Jonathan kissing the baby- so sweet!
We started this engagement session in a park but the setting just did not match Erin and Ian’s personalities! Our second location was much more colorful and really brought out their fun side! Here are a few favorites from their session:
I met Ragan and her mom in January. She had already booked her wedding photographer so I didn’t expect to hear back from her. I was super excited when she and her mom came out to the studio anyway. I could have hung out with them for hours! The day that we photographed Ragan and Josh’s engagement session, there was a 100k bicycle ride. There were bikers everywhere! You can see them in the background of one of the pictures below. I loved Ragan’s bright shoes and colorful toenails so I had to get a close-up of her ring over them. One of my favorites is the one taken on the playground: I keep waiting for someone to say no to certain poses! It’s great to work with easygoing couples who are up for anything! =)
