There was a thunderstorm about 30 minutes before we started Lauren and Luther John’s engagement session. I thought we were going to have to reschedule but the rain stopped just in time! If you look closely at the third image, you will see a butterfly in the top left corner. I was hoping it would land on one of us for luck, but that didn’t happen! Since both Lauren and LJ are in the medical field, we just HAD to get a few shots with their stethoscopes! LOL
I’m happy to finally be able to reveal images from Erin’s July bridal session! It was so hot in July, we decided to go with a studio session. When she let her hair down and brought out the electric guitar we really started having fun! I didn’t want to end the session. She was absolutely stunning against the brown background. Here are a few favorites…I’ll have wedding images posted by this weekend.
I am sooo excited about my new mountain bike! It was kind of a present from Chad for our 1.5 year anniversary. Nothing beats celebrating the anniversary of our first date twice a year! =) He took me on what he called a “baby trail” in Davidson for my first ride since I haven’t been on a bike since I was 10! Riding downhill was so scary at first. I was riding the brake and gripping the handlebars so tightly my hands were killing me after 5 minutes. I know I looked terrified on some of the curves and hills but I tried to play it cool so Chad couldn’t tell I was nervous lol! Chad and I are both workaholics. I’m hoping this will give me an excuse to take a little time off occasionally!
Heavenly and Jeramie were married on the rooftop terrace of the Kress Tower in Greensboro. It couldn’t have been a more perfect day for a wedding! There was a nice breeze all day. I love the images below where Heavenly’s veil is blowing in the wind. She and her dad shared the most graceful father-daughter dance I have ever witnessed! Here are a few favorites:
I’m heading out the door for a wedding in Greensboro but I wanted to get a few of Ragan and Josh’s images online first! Her wedding colors were teal and hot pink- the dresses were absolutely gorgeous!! And the cake- wow!! It’s cute to watch the kids gather around the cake at a wedding- I caught one little one on camera as she went for the icing!! LOL! Here are a few favorites:
When I met Tara, she was in jeans and a t-shirt. She wore no makeup and her hair was pulled back in a ponytail. Imagine my surprise when I arrived at
Carrigan Farms for her bridal session to see her totally transformed! Wow! We all had to get up pretty early for this shoot. We discovered that we have something in common- we are not morning people!! LOL….I downed 3 cups of coffee before I got there. We ended up having a lot of fun regardless of having to get up so early!
Here are a few favorites from Ragan’s bridal session last month- I’m excited to finally be able to release them! Ragan and Josh were married yesterday. I stayed up until 1am last night uploading wedding images. I couldn’t wait to see them- we got some fabulous ones! Check back next week to see favorites posted to the blog.
