And it’s not George Clooney!
Chad is snowboarding in Colorado this week. I woke up to these pictures in my inbox today…what a sexy lil’ devil! :p Who else could pull this look off? I would look ridiculous in goggles and a helmet!
We just celebrated our 2-year anniversary a couple of weeks ago. So far, they have been the best two years of my life! We met in February 2006. Chad was at Starbucks when he noticed me sitting on the patio having lunch with a girlfriend nearby. He had someone introduce us. We chatted briefly…I thought he was into my friend!
We had our first date a couple of weeks later at 131 Main in Huntersville. Chad introduced me to dirty martinis with blue-cheese stuffed olives (yum!). After dinner we met up with some friends at City Tavern for a little dancing. We took our first trip together 3 weeks into dating. During our stay at Laguna Beach, I knew I was in trouble- I was falling fast and no matter how much I resisted, I couldn’t help it!
We went to Aruba together with neighbors Jen and Clay the following month. I came home from Aruba with so many headshots of Chad, all of his friends made fun of him!! LOL….I can’t help it- he is still my favorite subject to photograph. He is such a good sport- he even let me put flowers in his hair on this trip! …Included a few images from our trip below…we’re going to Mexico in May, I can’t wait!
My sister called me at 8am to find out if I wanted to go to the train station where George Clooney and Renee Zellwegger would be promoting their new movie Leatherheads. I was just settling into another 10-hour day at the computer, so I didn’t even hesitate before saying yes! It was nice to get out in the sunshine for a couple of hours! My mom, my sister, and I all ended up going. We had so much fun…. There were a few devoted fans in the crowd who actually arrived at 5am! I’ve never been one to follow celebs, so I cannot imagine getting up that early for anybody!
We had lunch at the Wrenn House. All the women in the restaurant were comparing pictures and gushing over Clooney…! He was definitely charming in person. I may have my first celeb crush since the NKOTB in 7th grade lol!
I had to take a close-up shot of Renee’s heels for Heather. She knew immediately that they were Christian Louboutin heels…seriously, I dont know anyone who knows their designer shoes the way she does!! She definitely stays on top of celebs and fashion! Thanks to Kennie for alerting us to the event. =)

Tonya and Matthew are getting married at the Belk Chapel in October. I waited for weeks after our consultation to find out if they were going to book me because they had scheduled meetings with other photographers. I was so excited when Tonya got in touch to let me know t/ they had made their decision! It’s great to be able to work with people who are fun and easygoing. We actually live in the same neighborhood. I love the Huntersville area - everyone is so friendly! Here are a few favorites:
Our refrigerator is cluttered with Jillian’s art, pictures, coupons, to-do lists….you name it and it is there! I just received a save the date from Amanda and Chris that I put next to Steve and Lisa’s. I would love to add to my collection so please think of me when it comes time to mail your save the dates! =D
