I moved to Charlotte from the Baltimore/D.C. area in 1999 to work at my family’s photography studio. I started working independently when I made the switch from film to digital in 2005. I stay up-to-date on the latest lighting, posing, and retouching techniques. I offer both photojournalistic candids and posed photography because I believe both styles are equally important.
In addition to my enthusiasm for photography, I’m very passionate about the environment, animals, and social justice issues. I offer animal and eco-friendly products to my clients. All of my packaging is made of recycled and recyclable materials. It’s fun to get creative with packaging! My love for animals led me to adopt two labrador mixes from local animal rescues. I offer discounts to those who donate to or contribute to local animal rescues. Supporting businesses that engage in ethical business practices is also important to me. I make an effort to support small businesses and album companies that do not outsource.
